Home Meet The Team Eleanor Nightingale

I am looking forward to returning to Diverse to continue her teaching and provide amazing opportunities for young musical theatre students on their performing journey.

Eleanor Nightingale

Musical Theatre, Dance and Private Singing Teacher

Eleanor’s love for performing started at the early age of six when her family moved from
Wales to Dubai. She initially started dance fusion lessons at Diverse and very quickly
joined the Musical Theatre classes, where she found her passion and completed all her
LAMDA singing and Trinity acting grades.

Eleanor developed a love for the creative side and enjoyed performing and writing her
own scripts, monologues and songs that were showcased in the end of year shows at
The Madinat and Dubai Opera. Under Scott and Lisa’s guidance, she trained in all styles
of dance, gaining vocational grades in Ballet, Tap and Modern.

During her time at Diverse Eleanor had the opportunity to perform as a young professional
in many Flash mobs; concerts and events, one highlight being able to perform with the
composer Steve Sidwell at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. She also performed in
professional productions with West End Wordwide, playing Crafty in Fagins Gang in Oliver
and being part of the children’s choir in Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
to name a few. She also performed in the West End to Broadway Concert at Global
Village.

After graduating from Diverse, Eleanor continued with her passion for performing arts
where she completed a Foundation Year at Guildford School of Acting and gained a First
Class BA Honours Degree in Performing Arts at Performance Preparation Academy.

During her time at PPA, Eleanor dedicated herself to her craft and in her final year performed in three Professional Musicals playing the lead part of Emily Hobbs in Elf the
Musical, Iris Kelly in Fame and Ensemble in Rent, followed by a West End Showcase.

After Graduating, Eleanor performed in a Beauty and the Beast pantomime as part of the
ensemble as well as understudying lead parts. She has performed in Polar Express,
playing a lead chef and covered the hobo character. Performing in many concerts such as
the Miscast concert in Camden, London has been a highlight in her performing career, so
far.

Alongside performing, Eleanor has been teaching Musical Theatre and Dance to children
of all ages at various performing arts schools in the Uk for the past 5 years. She loves to
inspire students by creating fun and engaging lessons where the students can grow their
confidence and skills.

Eleanor has choreographed 2 productions of Six The Teen Edition Musical, where she
selected students from an audition process and developed the show as part of a creative
team. She also teaches private students preparing them for their LAMDA exams in
singing and acting with all her students achieving high grades.

As well as performing, Eleanor has a strong passion for Pilates and the benefits it has on
dancers and performers. She recently qualified as a Mat and Reformer instructor and
enjoys passing on her knowledge to clients, encouraging them to feel stronger and more
confident within themselves.

Eleanor is looking forward to returning to Diverse to continue her teaching and provide
amazing opportunities for young musical theatre students on their performing journey.
