Dance Fusion, Jazz Funk & Commercial Dance Teacher

Emily’s passion for dance began at a young age, shortly after her family relocated from the UK to Dubai. Her enthusiasm for the performing arts blossomed when she joined Diverse at the age of six, where she trained under the guidance of Scott and Lisa for the following 12 years. Emily dedicated her time to all the styles diverse had to offer, reaching vocational standard in ballet and modern, while completing all her grades in tap.

During her time at Diverse, Emily performed as a young pre-professional at a number of events, brand campaigns and flashmobs, including being one of the few students selected to dance with Jason Derulo at the Abu Dhabi Kids Choice Awards in 2019. Outside of her time at Diverse, Emily made frequent appearances with the ‘West End Stage Experience’ Company at the Madinat Theatre, performing in musicals such as ‘Annie’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ’Oliver’, as well as appearing in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s legendary musical ‘The Sound of Music’ in both Dubai and Bahrain.

After leaving Diverse aged 18, Emily moved to the UK where she gained a first class honours degree in Sport & Exercise Science from Loughborough University. While in Loughborough, Emily continued her training, competing nationally in multiple styles of dance. In addition to her own training, she served as a first-team coach for both jazz and commercial, leading her teams to victory in 2022 and 2024, where they were named National Champions.

Emily can’t wait to return to Diverse to continue her teaching career and hopes to give students the incredible experience she had as a young dancer in Dubai.
