WHY THE DIVERSE BTEC?​

  • In partnership with Pearson Education International, we provide a fully bespoke, KHDA approved, BTEC course which includes first class performing arts training, alongside academic studies​
  • This hugely successful learning model enables students to further their performing arts training whilst also continuing their academic studies​
  • We offer a BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice​
  • The equivalent to 3 A-levels worth up to 168 UCAS points​​​
  • This full-time, high level college experience based on a UK study programme​ is a pathway for school leavers who are post GCSE and interested in a career in dance and musical theatre, professional performance and the wider context of the dance industry including business​ for the performing arts​
  • A full time, 2-year educational programme (Over 20 hours per week) inc. BTEC, work experience, tutorials and enrichment activities​​

  • The course focuses on skills-based learning and is designed around themed units.  This practical approach allows BTEC learners to develop and apply the knowledge and skills that employers and universities are looking for
  • Rather than testing coursework at the end of the course, BTECs are tested throughout the course using assessments based on real-life scenarios

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST pass audition/interview for entry ​
  • GCSE result for entry – Grade 4 + (Exceptions will be considered for exceptionally talented performing arts students)
  • Gifted & Talented ​
  • In most cases, learners perform at BTEC merit/distinction standard on entry (practically)​
